MATSUI SHIKISO CHEMICAL CO. was founded 100 years ago in 1923 in Kyoto, Japan, as a manufacturer of crayons and painting materials. Since then, the company has sought opportunities not only in Japan but also around the world to manufacture pigments and resins for clothing printing and to develop special inks that change color. We have been working with a primary focus on creating products that meet the needs of today's environmentally conscious society, such as pigmented, water-based, and digital inks. As society as a whole is now moving toward digitalization, product needs are also diversifying. We aim to evolve our digital inks accordingly on a daily basis and develop pigments and colorants that meet those needs.
